2026 Sage Rutty x Jazz Network AAU Opportunity Scholarship

Program Mission

The Sage Rutty x Jazz Network Girls AAU Opportunity Scholarship exists to remove financial barriers for deserving girls who have the talent, work ethic, and passion to compete at the AAU level. This scholarship supports young athletes who demonstrate leadership, commitment, and a deep love for basketball, both on and off the court.

Through this program, we aim to uplift girls who may not otherwise have access to high-level competition, exposure, and personal development that AAU basketball provides.

Scholarship Overview

  • Total Scholarships Awarded: 10

  • Scholarship Amount: $250

  • Who Can Apply:

    • Girls who are currently playing or aspiring to play AAU basketball in Monroe County are eligible to apply. Applicants must be officially listed on an AAU team roster to receive the scholarship and reside in Monroe County

  • What the Scholarship Can Cover:

    • AAU-related costs such as team fees, tournament fees, uniforms, travel support, or training expenses

  • Payment Guidelines: 
    • A check in the amount of $250 will be mailed in the applicant’s name upon receipt of the signed Scholarship Acknowledgment Form.
